Good selection of food and other crafts/souveneirs. I found it all relatively well priced. It was very hot though so I recommend bringing a small fan.
We booked ahead for a great rate of about $17 per night for 9 nights. I will say the quality is good at that rate. Large spacious rooms albeit with old furnishings. I believe hotel possibly has a grand luxurious past. At least 4 large night markets within walking distance. 5pm to midnight you can get so much food selection. Breakfast and lunch limited out door options.
Nice area for nightlife in Chiang Mai. Now many shopping stuff and also boxing stadium.
Best night market in Thailand! There is so much craft, jewelry, clothing and souvenirs!! Food was great and live entertainment was a plus!
